Joseph Charles Credito

On July 14, 2024, Joseph Charles Credito passed away at home after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born on September 7, 1945, in Charleston, SC to the late Carmen and Marie Credito. As a child the family moved to Baltimore, MD and as an adult he resided in Cockeysville, MD until his retirement from Northrop Grumman. Upon retirement he moved to Bowie, MD where he lived the rest of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Sharon, daughter Kimberly, son Sean, and brother Steven. He is preceded in death by brothers Carmen (Jeffrey) and Kenneth.

Joe was a loving and devoted father and enjoyed coaching and watching his children’s sports activities. He also loved photography, music, coin collecting, attending air shows, NASCAR and NHRA, the Washington Capitals, and the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.

In honor of Joe, memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross.
