Joslyn Kenneth Anthony Farley, affectionately known as ‘Josh’, departed this world on December 17, 2023, at the Georgetown University Hospital Washington DC. Josh was born on February 27, 1956, in Georgetown, Guyana; he was the son of John Oliver and Joyce Elaine Farley.

Josh was a “people person” and known to family and friends as a thoughtful, kind, man. He touched the hearts of everyone he met, and no one remained a stranger for long.

Josh attended St. Cyril's Primary School, Central High School and then Concordia University to continue his education. In 1986, Josh moved to Maryland, where he established himself as an award-winning Broker and Realtor, representing New York Life, REMAX and Fairfax Realty.

Josh leaves behind to mourn his wife of 35 years,  Olivia (Gem), his children Sean, Dale, Oliver, and La Toya, and siblings Julian, Jennifer, and Jerome. He was preceded in this life by his parents, John and Joyce Farley, and his brother Neal. 

A funeral service to celebrate Josh's life will be held on January 6, 2024 at St Andrew's Episcopal Church, 4512 College Avenue, College Park, Maryland 20740.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the service will commence at 10:30 a.m. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering the vibrant spirit that was Josh Farley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Josh's memory. Your contributions will honor his memory and support cures for Leukemia/Lymphoma.
