Judith Ann Rainey, 78, was born on March 18, 1941, in Washington, D.C. to Cecilia (Gervasio) and Reginald Clark. She left us suddenly when she lost her short battle with cancer on June 7, 2019, in Crofton, MD.
Judy attended The Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament Church and Elementary School, as well as, Holy Cross Academy. Judy had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the Glee Club and Madrigal Singers. She was the leading lady in the Annual Class musical "Dear Miss Pheobe." She also sang a solo for her senior class night. She loved to dance and was an excellent hand dancer. Later in life, she became a member of the Hand Dance Association.
Judy worked for the Law Firm of Joseph Greenwald and Laake as a legal bookkeeper, for 20 years. She loved to travel and embarking on cruises was her favorite. When she retired from JG&L, she became a travel agent, specializing in cruises. She was an avid Redskins fan and never missed a game, whether she watched the game from her stadium seats or on the nearest T.V.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Kelly Beall and her son, Dan Smith, her grandchildren, Kelsey, Justin, Jenn (Michael),Amanda, and Amber, along with her great grandchildren Austin, James (J.J.), Kiley, Michael, Riley, and Liam, and many other friends and family.
