The world lost a beloved Mother on Monday, August 9, 2021, when Judy Ann Thomas, age 78, went to be with the Lord.

The world also lost a beloved son, Jeffery Allen Thomas, age 57, on Saturday, March 13, 2021, and a beloved Father, Henry Albert Thomas, age 79, on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Together three beautiful souls joined our Heaven of angels.

Judy was born on January 20, 1943 and will be remembered for her tremendous loving and giving spirit. There was always joy in her smile and faith in her heart. Judy was also known for her love of cooking and baking she always enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Those who had the honor of knowing Judy can attest her love was in every bite. Born in Washington, D.C. and later residing in Harlem, New York, Judy was always a loving and joyful person.  At the age of 16, Judy met Henry A. Thomas, and they later married. They had two beautiful children, Jeffery and Jennifer Thomas. Judy was an active member of the Divine Creation Ministry. She loved spending time with her family and friends talking, laughing, and sharing her wisdom. Throughout her life Judy exemplified the essence of beauty, grace, and happiness. She was a second mother to many who knew her, and a dedicated friend to all others. She lit up the room with her laugh and spirit, and she will greatly be missed. Judy & Henry are survived by their daughter Jennifer Thomas, grandson Jaden Thomas, Judy’s half-sister Betty Barnes and countless other loving relatives and close friends. 

Jeffery was born on September 26, 1963 to Judy and Henry Thomas.  Raised in Maryland, Jeff was a dedicated Amtrak employee for 26 years. He loved the New York Giants and traveling. He was a son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeff is survived by his sister, nephew, and girlfriend.  He will greatly be missed.

A memorial service will take place on August 22, 2021 from 3:30PM to 5:30PM EST at the Beall Funeral Home located at 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, MD 20715. Visitation will take place between 3:30PM and 4:30PM EST, with memorial service immediately follow. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support.
