Karen Annelle Larson

Karen Annelle Larson of Bowie, Maryland passed away in her home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Karen was born on January 16, 1952 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of the late Glen Berton Larson and Wanda Marie Zackovich. She was a graduate of Walt Whitman University, including a year abroad in France, and a Veteran of the United States Army (1974-1977).

Karen Larson is survived by her children Nicholas James Holk of Daphne, AL and Annelle Katherine Holk of Bowie, MD, and two grandchildren Ryan Nicholas Holk and Jessica Lauren Holk of Daphne, AL.  She is also survived by her sister Margot Lynne (Jim) Huffman of Tillamook, OR. She was predeceased by her sister Lisa Jeanne Landrey and her daughter-in-law Jill Suzanne Holk.

A faithful member of Sacred Heart Parish in Bowie, Karen was a member of the Traditional Choir and book club. She had a life-long love of dogs and leaves behind her Sheltie Jonathan. Karen also felt very connected to her Lithuanian heritage.
