Karen Turner, a loving mother, wife and friend, passed in the early evening of July 29, 2024, of natural causes at home in Harwood, Maryland, at the age of 64.
She was born December 31, 1959 in Washington, DC. Karen, devout in her faith, was one of a kind. Her willingness and ability to survive, grow, love, accept and to forgive, was extraordinary.
Karen was a firecracker! Strong, witty, smart, and honest. She was truly a force to be reckoned with. At the same time, her kind, loving demeanor and words could tame even the fiercest of beasts. She was a free spirit and turtle obsessed. She expressed herself best and most often with her arts and crafts. An old soul, she was, loved entertaining, gardening, and taking care of anything that needed care.
She hid a message to everyone.
"If i should go tomorrow, it would never be goodbye
For i have left my heart with you, so don't you ever cry.
The love that is deep within me shall reach you from the stars.
you'll feel it from the heavens, and it will heal all of the scars."
-Author unknown
She is already truly missed and survived by the love of her life and husband of 33 years, Ronald Turner, her three children, Lisa, James, and Kevin. Her six grandchildren, Devonte, Nico, Caasius, Mia, Kevin, Jr. (KJ), and Gabriel. One great grandchild Lydia. Her brother, Lawrence Luckel and his children, sister, Kimberly and her children and so so so many more. She will be forever in our hearts.
Celebration of life services will be posted for end of August early September
