Katherine Satterfield

Katherine (Kay) Satterfield passed away on Sunday, November 15 after a lengthy illness.  Katherine was born on February 5, 1928.  She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Leo (Jack), whom passed away in 2006.  Katherine had a zest for life like none other.  She was so very kind and always there for her family and others.  Bowling was one of her passions for many years.  She is survived by her son, Gary Satterfield (Michele), daughter Linda Baumgaertner (John) and daughter Lydia Van Ness.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Robyn, Tammy, John, Claudette and Amanda and has seven great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the SPCA as Kay had a genuine love for animals.
