Kathleen Ann Nunley

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathleen  Ann Nunley on May 18th, 2023. We were not ready to let her go but it was her time to be at peace and rest. 

Kathleen was born on September 26, 1944 to the late Charles R. Cherry and Lillian Kidd Cherry in Washington, DC.  Kathleen is survived by her Husband James Nunley.  She was preceded in death by her oldest Daughter Mary Kay Ford and leaves behind her 3 Daughters, Patricia Ford, Lisa Flores (Nelson), Jaime Pradel (Steve).  Her 6 Grandchildren, Jennifer Heisler (Kevin), Victoria Arbaugh, Robert Ford, Kara Cruz (Adan), Krista Flores and Daniel Pradel. Her 4 Great Grandchildren Mason Heisler, Elena Cruz, Callie Heisler and Gianna Cruz. She has also left behind her one and only Brother Dr. Charles R. Cherry, Jr.  She leaves many other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends as well.

Kathleen was a Prince George's County Crossing Guard for 33 years. She was a proud volunteer for many years at the Langley Park Boys and Girls Club.

Above all she was a caretaker to anyone and everyone who needed help.  She was devoted to her Kids Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and loved celebrating every Holiday.
