Keion Angelo Johnson
“Little Man”
November 30, 1978 – November 21, 2023
Lanham
Keion Angelo Johnson suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on November 21, 2023. He was born on November 30, 1978 to Rita (Gross) Johnson and Tyrone Johnson (deceased).
Despite being born with numerous health challenges, Keion never let that define him. Can’t was not a part of his vocabulary. Keion was easy-going, kind-hearted and willing to help anyone if he could.
Keion was educated in the Maryland Public School system and later went to the Job Corps where he learned how to install and maintain all types of flooring. He was a jack of all trades and master of many (according to him). Keion was employed at several corporations, including Melwood, the Lotus Lounge, Home Depot and Lowes where of course he showed off his excellent ability to interact with people.
The highlight and joy of Keion’s life was the birth of his daughter, Micayla, whom he loved dearly. Keion believed in living his life to the fullest. He loved animals, especially dogs and had several pet turtles. Keion also loved anything related to cars and collected miniature cars. His passion for cars led him to become a longtime salesman at Balic Autos. Keion’s hobbies included traveling, with a particular fondness for the Dominican Republic and the Philippines.
Preceding Keion in death were his grandparents James Gross, Maggie and Thomas Prather and his great grandparents, Mary “Gramps” and Leon Dyer. Left to mourn his loss are his daughter Micayla, grandson Alan, mother Rita, bonus father Michael, sister Kesha, brothers Napoleon, Teion and Christopher, his beloved grandmother Isabelle “G”, aunts Elise, Dana and Linda, uncle Stokes (Lillie), niece Kiara, stepmother Arita, stepsister Ronnette and numerous relatives and friends.
We would like to especially thank Mick and Rashad who have been by Keion’s side and was with him to the very end. He considered them along with Lenny, Donald and Brandon brothers.
