Kevin G. Benton

Kevin Gerard Benton, 65, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Kevin was born the third son of Patrick and Mary Benton, in Washington DC, on November 24, 1953.

Kevin is survived by his son, Liam (Sarah), his brothers: Michael, Patrick (Donna), Brian (Patrice), his many loved nieces and nephews, and his granddaughter Savannah Grace Benton.

Kevin was passionate and fierce in his faith, and a solider for Christ. Kevin loved dancing, listening to music, singing, all things Irish, and mostly his friends and family. Kevin will long be remembered for his contagious smile, booming laugh, and his unending optimism about life.

Kevin attended both St. Ambrose and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parishes, singing in the choirs of both. Kevin worked, most recently, as a loan officer in an wonderful office of Embrace Home Loans. Kevin considered his co-workers, like family.

Kevin could drive you mad, and make you love him more, in the same breath. His most endearing character was his willingness to meet you as you are. Kevin was always welcoming, and turned no one away from his love and affection.

Kevin is already missed by many. Thank you for sharing your life with him, may your memories be of the best times.
