Leona Marie Yost

Leona Marie Hubbard Yost, age 58, of Point of Rocks, MD, departed this life on July 1, 2019 to be with her soulmate and love of her life Anthony (Tony) Yost.  She was a loving Mother, Memaw, Sister and Aunt. She didn’t know a stranger and friends were always family.  She was born in Barnesville, Ohio on June 27, 1961 to Leonard and Dorothy Hubbard.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tony.  She is survived by her Daughter, Elizabeth M. Simpson Riggleman, Son, Richard P. Simpson Jr. (Nicole M. Simpson), one Brother Dwayne Hubbard (Kathie M. Hubbard), three Sisters, Darlene “Vi” Cochrane, Charlene “Kay” Gajtka (Terry Gajkta) and Roberta L McKenna.  Five grandchildren, Taylor M. White, Jessica L. White, Richard P. Simpson III, Melanie N. Simpson, Stephanie J. Simpson, several nieces and nephews and her Mother-in-Law Sylvia Yost. 

Caring cremation has already occurred.  A visitation is planned for Friday July 5, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm at Beall Funeral Home 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Route 3 South) Bowie, MD 20715.  Services will start at 12:00 noon with Pastor Michael officiating. Interment will be at Colesville Methodist Church Cemetery 61 Randolph Road Silver Spring, MD at 2:30pm.  No procession is planned.
