Lila Jean Devnew (Fletcher)
Born May 15, 1944 to Margaret Etter Fletcher and Butler Gene Fletcher in Fort Smith, in Arkansas; passed away peacefully at her home in Bowie, Maryland surrounded by family and friends September 15, 2019. She was a true inspiration to those who knew her and she always put others above herself. She is survived by her husband David, son Jason, daughter(in-law) Lisa, sister Katy Vanderhoef and husband Don, sister Margaret Berg and husband Steve, niece Margaret Alyce Lewis, nephews Guy Berg and Michael Fletcher, and cherished grandson Braeden Cole Devnew. She was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Margaret Fletcher and brother James I Fletcher. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital c/o Lila Jean Devnew DOB 051544.
