Lisa Eloise Hollingsworth Lastner, age 56, passed away on Feb 27. 2019 at her home in Bowie MD. Born in Westminster, MD on April 18, 1962 to Charles Hollingsworth Jr. and the late Daisy (Summers) Hollingsworth. She was a 1980 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. Lisa was a Human Resource professional for 20 years. She was last employed by Education Trust as Director of Human Resources.  Lisa’s favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas because she enjoyed the time of giving and peace. During the holiday season she would donate coats and sleeping bags to the homeless. Lisa loved the game of basketball and could rival the most avid enthusiast with her knowledge of the game and players both past and current. She loved listening to music and singing when she thought no one was listening. Lisa enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, going to Rehoboth Beach, where she and John married, spending time with her family, and her devoted dog, Amore.  Lisa had a sense of style and a way with words that will always be remembered.  Lisa leaves behind her doting husband, John Lastner; son, Alex Hollingsworth (Chernavia) of Severn, MD; son, Ryan Hollingsworth of Columbia, MD; son, Christopher Hairston of Columbia, MD; son, Brandon Hairston of Bowie, MD; and daughter, Meagan Hairston of Bowie, MD; grandson, Cameron Hollingsworth of Vallejo, CA; and granddaughter, Ryleigh Hollingsworth of Columbia, MD. She also leaves behind siblings Michael Hollingsworth of Frederick, MD; Danita Wright (Myron) of Ellicott City, MD; Timothy Hollingsworth of Bowie, MD; and Carla Winkler (Leon) of Suwanee, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
