We are saddened to announce that on August 2, 2024, at the age of 95, Lois Shelton of New Carrollton, MD passed away. 

Lois was born on January 23, 1929 to parents William and Louise Richards in Minnesota. She was predeceased by: her husband, John Shelton, her parents, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale (Fern) and Virgil Richards (Sandra), her granddaughter Jennifer Robertson, her brother-in-law Donald Pavek and her son-in-law, George Laboissonniere. She is survived by: her sister, Virginia Pavek, her daughter, Deborah Hans and her husband Stephen, and her daughter, Joanne Laboissonniere. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Laboissonniere (Alicia), Kristi Pearson (Jake), Kelly Cox (Marc), Sohail Mahmood (Danielle) and 8 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Katelyn, Kaleb, Taylor, Mason, Reagan, Zain and Lily.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Lois shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. As we bid Lois farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
