Lorie Ann Holt

Lorie A. Holt, age 55, of Crofton, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep with family surrounding her on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 7:53 am. Lorie was born on July 13, 1966 in Washington, DC to Eileen M. Purcell (preceded in death) and Joseph E. Purcell Sr.

Lorie had a very contagious laugh that attracted people to her. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and amazing friend to many.  She loved spending time with her grandbaby, taking cruises, sitting on the beach, making jewelry and cross stitching. Lorie established her business, Homestead Management Services, L.L.C. in 2010 which she took great pride in. Lorie also worked as a settlement officer for Champion Reality and Title.

Lorie is survived by her fiancé Gene Garner; son and daughter-in-law, Christian and Damacely Holt of Churchton, MD; son Brandon Holt of Crofton, MD; brother and sister-in-law, Joey and Michelle Purcell of Owings, MD; sister and brother-in-law, Megan and Zach Biller of Westminster, MD; six nieces and nephews: Ryan Purcell, Jacob Purcell, Scott Purcell, Kendall Purcell, Addison Biller and Liam Biller and two grandchildren: David and Isabella Holt.
