Her first marriage to Ivan Myers produced six beautiful children. She loved a bonus child with her second husband Kenrick Joseph. In Trinidad she attended Commercial schooling for Typing, Shorthand and Hairdressing. In the U.S. she attended Strayer College, Georgetown University, & National Bible College. Lorna earned certifications in Ministry, Medical Clerical training, and Transportation. She was a member of National Church of God.
Her first job in the U.S was a Physician’s Housekeeper which led to a career in healthcare communications that started at Georgetown University, transitioned to Washington Hospital Center and concluded with a family business: Lo-Ma-Li Physician Answering Service. For the remainder of her career, she was a Drug & Alcohol Rehab. Counselor & Dorm Monitor at Penial Ministries. She loved to pray, evangelize, sing, read and cook.
