Louis “Buddy” F. Kreitzer, Sr.

 Born in Bowie Maryland on November 24, 1932 passed away peacefully on August 24, 2018.   

Buddy is preceded in death by his wife Peggy Ann, his daughter Lori Lea, and his sons David, and Leslie Lloyd. Also, preceded in death by his siblings, Dot, Dayton, Violet, Chester, Mary, Linda, William Henry, Billy, and Peggy.

Buddy is survived by his sons, Louis “Buddy” Jr. (Margie) and Richard L. (Donna) and his sister, Kathy Beck. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Buddy proudly served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps and received the National Defense, United Nations, and Korean Service Medals. He later served as a Prince Georges County Police officer from 1954 to 1974 and he was a founding member of FOP 89.

The family will receive friends at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway (Rt. 3 South), Bowie MD on Saturday September 1, 2018 from 10am to 11am followed by a service at 11am. Burial to follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville MD.
