Margaret E. Crotts

Margaret Eileen Crotts Died on August 26^th, 2021 (Age 89) in Bowie Maryland. Eileen was born on May 5^th, 1932 in Oil City Pennsylvania. She moved from Oil City Pennsylvania in the 1950’s to work for the federal government. Eileen worked in several agencies until retiring from the National Science Foundation. She survived the passing of her sisters Joyce Standifer and Mary Bean. She is survived by her daughter Catherine Bofto and grandchildren Andrew, Adam, Alex and Connor Bofto and many other family and friends. Eileen loved to spend time in her Garden with her daughter Catherine and would frequently call upon her grandchildren to go to the woods with a ryder wagon to harvest topsoil for her yard. She loved to do crossword puzzles and her favorite animal was the owl, which she collected many figurines of. She loved to crochet and made many Christmas decorations, doily’s, scrunchies, pot holders, hats and scarfs. There will be a viewing at Beall funeral home in Bowie, Maryland Saturday August 4th, 2021 11am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12 pm. From there a funeral procession will take Eileen to Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, Maryland.
