Margaret Jeanette Tuttle

July 12, 1935 — June 13, 2020

Margaret Jeanette Tuttle (née Clements), 84, peacefully departed from this life on June 13, 2020. She was born in Washington, D.C., on July 12, 1935, to Edna “Jeanette” and Stanley Clements. She married Truman Tuttle on July 1, 1955. The couple resided in the home that they built in Bowie, Maryland. Margaret volunteered in amateur boxing. She loved her family, her friends, and the Ravens.

 

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Truman; her brothers Edward Clements and Ronald Clements; and her son Charles. She is survived by her brother Kenneth Clements; sister Norma Jean Landress and brother-in-law Darrell Landress; sons Frederick Tuttle, Truman Tuttle Jr., and William Tuttle; her grandchildren Frederick Tuttle Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Tuttle; Kimberly Colohan and husband Michael Colohan; Lisa Tuttle; and Ronald Tuttle and his fiancée, Michelle Selecman; her great-grandchildren Alexis Tuttle, Austin Colohan, Annalise Tuttle, Ethan Tuttle, Eugenia Paitsel, Frederick Tuttle III, Henry Jett, Jonathan Paitsel, Julian Jett, Kristiana Colohan, Magdalene Tuttle, and Zoey Tuttle; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Family and friends are invited to gather at BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 Crain Hwy., Bowie, MD 20715 on Wednesday June 24, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for visitation and viewing. Services will be private. Margaret will be interred privately at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, joining her husband.
