Marilyn Foley, age 84 passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021. Marilyn was the beloved wife of Stanley P. Foley Sr. (predeceased); devoted mother of Stanley Foley Jr. and his wife Brenda, Phyllis Danzi and her husband Donato, Dorothy DeLeonibus and her husband Lawrence, and Scott Foley and his wife Lisa. Marilyn (Mimi) was the cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by Stanley Foley Sr. (her husband of 65 years), her parents Clarence and Dorothea Leonard, and siblings David Miller and Raymond Blais.
Marilyn cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Some of her favorite past times included singing, dancing (especially Polka’s), making crafts, collecting porcelain dolls, and her miniature shoe collection. She especially enjoyed tapioca pudding (a family favorite, and special treat) and ice cream. Marilyn could often be heard saying one of many different quotations with two of her favorite quotes as “you know the drill” and “hello kiddo.”
In 1990-1991 Marilyn was honored to serve as Worthy Matron with her husband by her side as Worthy Patron for the Order of the Eastern Star – Peace Chapter #116. Marilyn established numerous friendships in her long lifetime and enjoyed numerous outings with the various affiliations and organizations that her and Stanley were involved with thru the years.
