Mark Vinson Faux (56) beloved son, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Saturday March 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Faux. Mark was born in Washington, DC on April 14, 1962 and grew up in the Adelphi/Langley Park area of the Maryland suburb. Mark was a graduate of High Point High School in Beltsville, MD.
Mark settled in Bowie, MD and raised his family. He had his own small business as a counter top designer and fabricator. His main joys in life were hanging out with family or friends, skiing and boating to name a few. He enjoyed occasional trips to Ocean City, MD. His real passion in life was playing the drums. He began as a self-taught teenager and was very gifted. He was the timekeeper for many bands over the years. Some of these include Rampant, Precious Metal, No Trace, Average Joes and others. He was a loving, caring person who would do anything for anyone. He had a real zest for life and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will cherish many great memories of Mark. We will love and miss you forever. He will always be in our hearts.
He is survived by his loving companion of many years Heidi and her daughter Sabrina; his mother Carole Moore and stepfather Dennis, his two children Kimberly (Rick) and William (Colleen), three brothers Jeff (Laura), Russell (Rebecca), Mitchel (Lisa) and his grandchildren. Mark is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.
