Martha Campbell Bamford

Martha  Campbell Bamford 94 passed away peacefully on July 7th 2021, surrounded by her family.

Martha, a native of Stahlstown PA, moved to the  Washington DC area during WWll where she met her future husband Ned.

A talented singer, Martha was for years a member of the St. Matthews Methodist church choir.

Martha was an avid traveler who toured many parts of the world, including trekking through Nepal in her 70’s.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ned Bamford. She is survived by her three children, daughters Jane Bamford, Sally Link (Charles) and son Richard Bamford (Jennifer), her grandchildren, Matthew Link, Julia Bamford, Renee Bamford. She is also survived by her sister and best friend Janet Greene and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
