Martin A. Goodier

Martin “Marty” A. Goodier, 56, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2019.  Marty was originally from Floyds Knobs, Indiana before moving to Maryland.   He leaves a loving wife, Michelle (Steinbauer), and two beautiful daughters, Jessica Elizabeth (28) and Nicole Marie (22), who were the joys of his life.  Marty was a volunteer with the Prince Georges County Fire Department and was very proud of his time with the county.  Marty was employed by Mentor Dynamics, and had the fortune of traveling the world. He would often talk about how his travels that had taken him to 6 of the 7 continents and everywhere in between.  His job took him away from the family for extended periods of time, but when Marty returned home there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family.

When Marty had down time, you could often find him tinkering in his garage. He was very proud of his skills when he was restoring the 1953 Super A Farmall tractor that he inherited from his family’s farm in Indiana where he grew up.
