Mary Lynn Steen

The Matriarch of our family Mary Lynn Steen died peacefully on Wednesday, December 1st with family beside her at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was 69 years YOUNG and would have turned 70 on Christmas Day. She was born in Washington D.C. on December 25, 1951.

She is survived by her husband Gary. They have 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was one of six children and her youngest sister, Melissa, and she were best friends. She is predeceased by her parents, three siblings, and her daughter Catina. Mary Lynn and Gary were to celebrate 52 years of marriage on December 10.

We will miss her devotion to our family and her protective nature of us. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Ascension Catholic Church be made in her name.

The family will receive visitors on December 14, 2021 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Beall Funeral home. A Roman Catholic funeral will be at Ascension Church at 11:00 AM on December 15, 2021 followed by interment at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
