Mary-Pat Lastfogel

September 16, 1967 — July 24, 2020

Mary-Patricia Novotny Lastfogel, 52, passed away unexpectedly on July

24th, 2020 in Crofton, MD. Mary-Pat was born as one of five children

on September 16th, 1967 in Baltimore, MD to Joseph and Patricia

Novotny. After attending and graduating from Coastal Carolina

University, she married Charles Lastfogel and moved back to her

hometown of Crofton, where they had their daughter Caroline whom they

loved together fiercely. With a smile that lit up a room and a heart

of gold, she brought love and compassion to all who knew her. As a

dedicated Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan, she often enjoyed going to

games with her daughter and brothers and cheering on her favorite

teams, decked out in her sports gear. A true Marylander, she loved to

eat crabs, cook, and spend time with her family. Holidays were often

spent together talking about past memories and plans for the next

get-together. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt,

and friend. Mary-Pat is survived by her parents, Joseph and Patricia;

her husband Chuck; her daughter Caroline; her brothers Joseph (Lisa),

Jeffrey, and Matthew; her sister Elizabeth; and her nephews, nieces,

and great-niece.

A private mass for the family will be held on Saturday, August 1st at

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Crofton, MD; a link to a live stream

of the mass will be posted online. In lieu of flowers, please consider

making a tribute to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Mary-Pat’s name.
