MaryLou Meador, of Bowie, Maryland passed away on October 4, 2018 after a short battle with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. She was 83.
She was born November 12, 1934, the first of ten children to Martha and Freeman Frederick, of Santa Barbara, California. She met and married Charles Meador, when he was in the navy, stationed in San Diego, California. They moved to Bowie in 1962, where she remained.
MaryLou is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and two of her sisters, Ella May and Dorothy.
She is survived by her 4 children, Vikki Meador of Bowie, David (Debbie) Meador of Churchton, MD, Steven Meador of Bowie, Caryn Wallace of Annapolis, MD., 2 grandchildren, Danny Meador and Joey Wallace, 5 sisters, Ruth, Betty, Harriett, Cissy, Sue and two brothers, Jack and Hank.
MaryLou enjoyed her garden, going to the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South) Bowie, MD where a funeral will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:30am with interment immediately following at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
