Matthew Michael Bronder

Matthew Michael Bronder passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 40. Matthew was born October 8, 1979 at Providence Hospital in Washington D.C. 

Matthew attended St. Pius X elementary school and graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 1997. Matt graduated from Troy University with Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Business Administration in 2007.

Matt worked as a Branch Manager for Fidelity Direct Mortgage. Prior to working in the mortgage industry, Matthew worked as a credit counselor. He was honored to help members of the community acquire their new homes and improve their personal finances. 

Matthew was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed activities including weightlifting, bowling, softball, tennis, and playing with his dog Rexie. 

Matthew’s kindness and sense of humor was enjoyed by his family and friends. He is survived by his father, Charles “Mike” Bronder Jr.; mother, Ruth Bronder; brother Zachary; uncles James, Richard, Edward and Victor; aunts Marie and Renee; and his cousins Beau, Jay, Joshua and Tyler.
