Born on July 1, 1996 to his late mother Connie Sue Hasty and father Paul Hasty. His little sister Sarah Elizabeth Hasty was his best friend and held a very special place in his heart. Matthew prevailed despite the many challenges and hardships he endured in his short life. His proudest moments were welcoming his daughter, Presley Ryette Penman-Garcia-Hasty on November 23, 2022, followed by his son Matthew Franklyn Hasty, Jr. on November 24, 2023. He was happily engaged to his fiancé Lauren Penman-Garcia. He was the most dedicated father, spouse, and friend that I had the privilege of knowing. His struggle with addiction was a daily fight that he was able to successfully navigate for two years. We were starting to build a beautiful life together with love, respect, and knowledge to share with one another, and to teach our amazing children. We will always remember you for being the most amazing human being.
