Melanie Lisa Krewson

On Friday, October 4, 2019, Melanie Lisa Parsons Krewson, loving mother of five, passed away at the age of sixty.

Melanie was born July 9, 1959 in Arlington, Virginia to Frieda and John Parsons.

During her life, she served in the United States Army, raised five children as a US Army wife and mother, spoke many languages, traveled the world, and later served as a Federal employee of the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington DC.

She had a heart of music, art, and love for her children. She was always at the ready to hand knit custom pieces of clothing for anyone who had a need, and her knitting bag was rarely out of reach.

Melanie was preceded in death by her father, John, her mother, Frieda, and her step-father, William. She is survived by her five children, Nicholas, Meredith, Alexander, Timothy, and Sebastian, and many beloved siblings, nieces, and nephews.

She was very loved, and will be sorely missed.
