Michael B. Moore

On the evening of Saturday June 13, 2020, Michael B Moore, Sr. departed this life, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Those who knew him best called him Mike.

 

He was born on August 13, 1947 to William and Thelma Moore in Bluefield, West Virginia, and came to Maryland in the 1960s.and lived mostly in Brandywine since then. He was one of 14 children, Dolores, Snookie, Ray, Jerry, Rodney, Zona, Nancy, Connie, Sue, Dennis, Stan, and Jeff. Another brother Tommy, died as an infant.

 

Mike loved the outdoors and some of his happiest days were spent fishing or hunting, but more than anything he loved his family, and enjoyed watching the children play together. As a teenager Mike was able to save the lives of two people from drowning. Although he was a carpenter by trade, his talents were many, and he was quite the craftsman, and artist.
