On Tuesday, September 18, 2018; a lifelong resident of Bowie, MD. Michael enjoyed music, sports and was an outdoors enthusiast. He spent many years as a youth sports coach. He was very creative with music, art and drafting. Michael was strong in his spiritual beliefs. Beloved son of Toni and Bill Painter. Loving and committed father to Ben. Dear brother of Billy and his wife Karen and Tommy and his wife Jenny; uncle to Katie, Trudy, and Joey. Michael was also fortunate to have a large circle of dedicated and loving friends. Family will receive friends at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD (the entrance to the chapel is a separate entrance from the church parking lot, approximately 50yds from the church, you cannot access the chapel from the church parking lot. Google Sacred Heart Cemetery to get exact directions) on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30am. For family and friends who wish to attend the burial, please meet at the office of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD by 1pm. Repass at Knight of Columbus, Bowie, MD from 3pm to 5pm.
