Rumpa was born on December 13, 1966 in Calcutta, India to The Late Mr. Udayan Bhaduri and Ms. Bharati Bhaduri (Chakraborty). She passed on from this life on September 18, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 52.
She leaves to cherish her memories her: daughter Rohinee, grand-daughter Rania, mother Bharati, her twin sister Atrayee, her dog Kukkuli, a host of cousins and relatives, and many friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her brother Binayak and father Udayan.
 
Rumpa attended school in India, achieving her Bachelor's Degree in History, Philosophy and Political Science from Thakur Pukur Vivakananda College and achieving her Master's Degree in History from Calcutta University.
 
Rumpa immigrated to America in November 1994. Her early career was as a school teacher for young children at various schools. She then transitioned to caring for the elderly, mentally challenged, and differently abled. She took great joy in the work she did. She had an abundance fo love, patience, kindness, and trustworthiness within her. 
 
In 2013, Rumpa converted to Christianity and was baptized in the church. In 2013, she also moved to Florida, where she established a small property care business. As owner and operator, she found great pride and passion in her business. She was able to help many of people throughout the years. In 2018, Rumpa retired and returned to Maryland in order to be with her daughter and grand-daughter.
 
Besides her family and friends, Rumpa loved music, dance, theatre, poetry, animals, black and white movies, the autumn season and holidays, laughing and helping people. Rumpa genuinely cared about the well-being of others and keeping her word. She truly enjoyed traveling and trying new things. She never failed to bring a smile to anyone's face with her jovial demeanor.
 
Her family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all of the caregivers at Mercy Hospital ICU.
 
A private cremation service will be held on Sept. 23, 2019.
 
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at a later date, TBD, at Hope Baptist Church in Laurel, MD.
