Paul Williams, age 70, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019, in Clinton, Maryland. He was surrounded by family when his soul was lifted up to Heaven.
Born in Washington, DC, lived in Maryland and following retirement as an automotive specialist, he relocated with his wife to Murrells Inlet, SC.
Paul was first born son of Richard and Grace Williams. He is survived by his wife, Rita, of 40 years, his son, Richard (Rick) Williams, his wife, Jessica and granddaughters Gabrielle, Aubrey and Declynn, his daughter, Leah Whetzel and grandsons, Dylan and Mason and his precious fur baby, Gracie Blue.
In addition, he was blessed with sister/brother-in-law’s, many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Paul loved to ride his harley, and cruise in his “Smokey and the Bandit” trans am, listening to Motown, Blues and his favorite, “Patsy Cline”. He was an avid Redskins fan.
Paul was the first graduating class of Crossland Senior High School, 1966. He owned his own automotive repair shop from 1980-2005. He enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, playing pin ball machines and watching “Rocky” movies, over, over and over again.
Paul touched so many lives with his honesty and “no-nonsense” character. He was an absolute “BEAST” for the past 6 years, fighting so hard to survive. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
