With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Paula Ann Lautzenheiser, who left us on June 29, 2024 in Arlington, VA.
She is reunited in peace with her sons, Thomas Garrett Keane and Stephen Lodowski, her siblings James, Katherine, Martin, Claire and Kevin, and her husband of 33 years, Marvin Lautzenheiser. Her spirit continues on in the lives of her loving family, including her son James, grandchildren Christina and Michael, daughter-in-law Terri, three great-grandsons, and countless dear friends who were blessed to know her.
Paula was born to Ignatius Keane and Anna Rover of Cheverly, MD on October 29, 1941. A loving mother of three sons, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, she found her passion and purpose in taking care of those she loved. Professionally, she took great pride in her work as a paralegal in the Maryland court system and at prominent D.C. law firms. She also loved travel, laughter, and her beloved dogs, Buddy, Katie, Poppy, and Buttons.
She was the epitome of selflessness, patience, understanding, and unconditional love, touching the hearts of everyone she met. Her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her and keep her memory alive.
We will be celebrating her life with family and friends on Sunday, July 7th 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Beall Funeral Home (6512 Robert S. Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715), followed by a burial at 12:30pm at Lakemont Memorial Gardens (900 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035)
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Paula to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
