On Monday, May 18, 2020, Pearl Lorraine Hall known to many as “Lorraine”, departed this life unexpectedly at Bridgepoint Capitol Hill. Lorraine was born on March 22, 1948, in Lusby, Maryland to the late Enoch and Goldie Hall.
Lorraine was educated in Calvert County, Maryland and Wiley H. Bates High School, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Lorraine was employed by Anne Arundel County, Government before retiring in 2004.
At a young age Lorraine attended Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in Calvert County, Maryland. In 1983, when Lorraine moved to Landover, Maryland she joined the Refuge Church in Onley, Maryland. Prior to her injuries, over the years, while living in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Lorraine worshipped at Greater Morning Star in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. One of Lorraine’s greatest attributes was that she loved the Lord and was always excited about God.
Lorraine is survived by her beloved children: Anthony and Ruth Contee, Tonia (Dwyne) Proctor, Glendora and LaKeshia Contee; nine grandchildren: Anthony Jr, Anthony Jerrell, Ashley, Jeremiah, Brittany, Angel, Caprilia, Dawuan, and Malachi; eight great grandchildren; one brother: Robert Hall; two sisters: Iva Savage and Myrtle Hall-Ford; two god children: Juanita and Arvisse; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
