Peggy T. Werts

Peggy Theopal (Wells) Werts, 86, of Davidsonville MD went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family, after an extended illness.

Peggy was born Sept. 11, 1934 in Toro, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Wilmer and Mary Wells. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Werts.  She is also survived by her son Randy (Dana) of Frederick MD, and daughter, Susie Agnolutto (Dario) of Dunkirk MD.  She is survived by grandchildren Amy Flowers, Corrie Donaldson (Mark), Cayce Burdette (Mickey), Kyle Werts (Corrie), Tim Agnolutto, Scott Agnolutto. In addition, she had 6 great grandchildren: Judah, Eden, Simon, Noah, Elli, and Logan. Also surviving is her sister Billie Wilson, sister-in-laws Chris DiBernadinis (Dale) and Judy Wells, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Theodore and McConathy Wells.

Peggy was the former secretary-treasurer of Potomac Fences, a business started by she and her husband.  She was an Air Force veteran, and loved our great country.  Peggy loved her family deeply. She loved being a homemaker, hostess, and welcoming everyone to her home. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and her yard. She maintained close ties with her family and friends from her native Louisiana.  She also loved her church, and was a fervent Christian. Peggy was a member of the 1^st Baptist Church of Crofton. 

Arrangements are made by Beall Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 at First Baptist Church of Crofton, 1690 Crofton Pkwy, Crofton MD.  Friends and family will be received at a 10:00 am visitation, followed by an 11:00 am service.  Interment will be at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
