Of Mitchellville, PHYLLIS EILEEN GREEN passed peacefully on June 28, 2023 at the Hospice of Charles County. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence of 78 years – the “love of her life”, her son, Richard; her parents, and her brother and twin sister. She is survived by her daughters: Linda Green and Carol Henderson (Buddy), her daughter-in-law, Nancy; Grandchildren: Kimberly McNamara (John), Christina Good (Shaun), Michelle Henderson (Greg), Stefanie Sullivan (Pat) and Step-Granddaughter, Heather Yake (Nathaniel) and 12 Great-Children: John, Jr., Hannah, Logan, Mason McNamara; Meghan and Branden Good; Anika Privitera; Abigail and Autumn Sullivan; and Evan, Ethan and Lila Yake. She was a member of Disney-Bell American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66 and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1856 and Chapter 1350. She worked for the Board of Education for Prince George’s County for 30+ years as a Secretary at Mulliken and Woodmore Elementary Schools in Mitchellville. Her kind and loving memories will be a part of all of us forever in our hearts and prayers. She was an inspiration to everyone that came across her path.
A Memorial Service will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, with a Memorial Service at Noon. Interment at Washington National Cemetery, 4101 Suitland Road, Suitland, MD
