Phyllis Ann Jenkins-Marion of Bowie, Maryland passed away peacefully on March 31. Phyllis worked for IBEW Local 26 in their International Office as a Data Control Clerk for 22 years. Once retired, she enjoyed spending time with other IBEW retirees. She also enjoyed bowling, bingo, crocheting, cooking and traveling with her husband Bill in their RV. She very much enjoyed throwing "Applesauce Cake Parties" with her family. Everyone was encouraged make their own version of her Mother's (Grand Tudie) Applesauce Cake recipe. Phyllis was also a die hard Washington Nationals and Redskins fan. What Phyllis enjoyed the most, by far, was being a mother, grandnother, great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother. Many summers were enjoyed at the beach soaking up the sun and playing in the waves.
Phyllis is preceeded in death by her first husband Thomas C. Jenkins Sr.,her second Husband William Marion and her daughter Wendy LeSueur. She is survived by her sons Thomas "Tippy" Jenkins and Danny Jenkins; her grandchildren Theresa Jenkins-Levey, Lacey Jenkins, Rachel LeSueur and Kyle LeSueur; her great grandchildren Aaliyah Taylor, Bianca Roberts, Hope Levey, Ethan Roberts and Briella Gray and great- great grandson Jordan Wright.
Services will be held at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Md on April 8th from 9:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m with the private family graveside service immediately afterwards at Fort Lincoln Cemetery
