Randy Scott Kibbe

May 7, 1959 — February 17, 2019

Randy Scott Kibbe, age 59, passed away unexpectedly after suffering almost his entire life with mental illness including, but not limited to, Bipolar Disorder. While the mental illness was not the direct cause of Randy’s death, it contributed indirectly. The actual cause is unknown, and our family knows that he went peacefully in his home around February 17, 2019. Randy was born to Ray and Margaret Kibbe (Cowley) on May 7, 1959 in Port Huron, Michigan. Randy graduated from Port Huron Northern High school in 1978.

On August 15, 1981 he married the love of his life, his former wife Diane Kibbe (Cole). Together, they shared 20 years of marriage, and another 20 years of a loving, caring friendship no one else could describe. They have two daughters whom they have always cherished and provided everything for.

Randy was survived by his Father Ray Kibbe, Brother Alan Kibbe, Brother Gary Kibbe, Ex-Wife Diane Kibbe, Daughter Ashley Bruno (Kibbe), Son-in-Law Donald Bruno, Daughter Amanda Kibbe, soon to be Son-in-Law Jared Markey, and three beautiful Grandchildren Olivia Bruno (7), Emma Bruno (3), and Isabella Markey (1), as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Randy was best described by many as such a wonderful and brilliant man. He was always smiling and going above and beyond at everything he did. Most wouldn’t have known or even understood that he suffered mentally as much as he did because he was always trying so hard to please others. He would give you his shirt off his own back and that’s a fact. Randy was a hard worker all his life. He spent many years working in the tape industry and sales.

Randy throughout his life enjoyed life itself, going to concerts, fishing, hunting, wild-life, bowling, watching movies, darts, playing cards and just being with his family. His grandchildren were the absolute highlight of his life. He had plans in the making to actually meet in person his newest grandbaby Bella whom lives in Michigan. Randy truly had nothing but good intentions in his heart. Our family is praying that he is looking down over all of us smiling and not suffering anymore, while in the arms of his Mother Margaret Kibbe, Brother Ray Kibbe, and Sister Susan Kibbe in heaven.

The family is holding a private showing for immediate family before cremation. Those wishing to send their condolences may do so online at Beall Funeral Home, located in Bowie MD.
