Raymond “Ray” Paul Partenheimer, 61, died unexpectedly at home on April 15, 2019. He was born January 14, 1958 in Bellefonte, PA. He was the son of Ronald P. and Anna T. (Boudreaux) Partenheimer.
Ray graduated from Bellefonte High School, class of 1976. Following graduation, he attended Lock Haven State College. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education in 1981. He taught for 1 year in a middle school in Louisiana. Ray married his college sweetheart, Janice Copelli, in 1982 and settled in Maryland. They celebrated 36 years of marriage in June 2018.
Ray was an active historical re-enactor in the time periods of WWII, Civil War and Renaissance. He was the guard to the King at the Maryland Renaissance Festival for 21 years.
He is predeceased by his mother and father. Surviving him is his wife, Janice, his sister, Susan, his daughter, Elizabeth Herlinger, and his son-in-law, Peregrine Herlinger.
Family will received friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rt. 3 South), Bowie, MD where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 10am.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202
