Regina T. Szczepanski

Regina Theresa Szczepanski, at the age of 93 passed away peacefully at her home on May 31st, 2023. She was born on August 6th, 1929 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Joseph and Katherine Kiempisty. She married the love of her life, Henry, on May 1st, 1959. They settled down in Bowie, Maryland after he retired from the Navy in 1967.  Regina dedicated her life to being a homemaker and enjoyed caring for and feeding her birds in her backyard. She was the matriarch of her family and kept them together despite the distance. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Gerry (her partner Michael Candido), Karen Fournier (her husband Marc), and Christina Grunstra. Her grandchildren Amanda Gerry, Kyle Gerry (his partner Amanda Musgrove), Brittany Fournier, Alyssa Fournier and Hunter Grunstra. She departs from her brother Joseph Kiempisty of Clark, New Jersey, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
