Richard Sean Meehan

On Tuesday, March 29^th, 2022, Richard Sean Meehan suddenly passed away at his residence in Parkville, Maryland at the age of 56.  He is survived by his mother, Marie Meehan and current wife, Janet Meehan and siblings, Anne Eberhard (Joe), Jim Meehan (Josee) and Mark Meehan (Laurie).   He is also survived by his former wife, Kathy Chroniger and four children, Sean Patrick Meehan, Mackenzie Meehan, Bailey Meehan, Kyleigh Meehan, step-son, Nicholas Crow, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard received his BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland of Maryland in 1986.  He was employed with CBRE/Heery for the past sixteen years.

Richard was a civil engineer and devoted to his career as a building director which included building several hospitals in the underserved communities in the D.C. Metropolitan Area, Baltimore and Prince George’s County for the past thirty years.

In his private time he liked to spend time with his wife and dogs. Rich was passionate about health and fitness and participated in many athletic events and Crossfit competitions.  He was also a certified personal trainer and prided himself on helping others reach their fitness goals.

Services will be held at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway Bowie, Md. 20715 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
