He grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland where he graduated from Northwestern High School, class of 1983. On October 14th, 1989, he married the love of his life, the former Jeannine Frank, and they went on to live in Bowie, Maryland, raising their family together. Richard's career consisted of 28 years as an Executive Salesman at House of Printing, Inc. in Burtonsville, Maryland. In addition to his work life, he enjoyed 20 years of coaching basketball, baseball, and softball for St. Mark's and St. Pius.
Throughout his life, Richard took the time to make hundreds of friends among his community, his St. Mark’s family, and his parish of Sacred Heart. He was filled with extreme enthusiasm and optimism no matter the circumstance, he always had a story to share or advice to give, and he was always eager to lend a helpful hand to everyone he crossed paths with. It was these genuine qualities that brought him the love, admiration, and utmost respect of his family and friends.
