HIS LIFE REMBERED
Packing my bags, going away
As today I know I am living but tomorrow, could make me the past.
But that I must not fear, for I will know deep in my mind,
the Love of me, I have left behind.
RIEN DIMETRI GREEN, son of Keila Green, was born March 15, 1992, in Prince Georges, Maryland. He departed this earthly life on June 24, 2021.
Rien graduated from John Hanson Montessori School and Largo High School in Prince Georges County. While at John Hanson. he was selected as a Youth Mentor for the Prince Georges County School Board. Rien’s barbering journey began early in life. He was highly creative and motivated. While still in high school he began cutting some of his classmates’ hair. After high school he went to Bladensburg Barbering School and received his first barbering license.
Working as a barber, Rien went on to complete and received his Master Barbering credentials. Continuing his education, he enrolled in the University of Maryland University College to pursue a degree in Business Administration and International Business. His goal was to open his own shop and Barbering School. Rien opened his shop in 2018.
Rien was well known and respected throughout the barbering arena. He touched the lives of many, he never met a stranger. He was an excellent barber and was in high demand. Once Rien cut your hair, clients came back repeatedly. He had clients that he had serviced for over ten years and serviced many of them by appointment. He received 5-star reviews on social media. Even though he was high in demand, he was a kind man and always ready to aid and assist others. Rien took the time to give back to the community by cutting hair for the homeless, seniors, and children at no cost.
Rien always had the biggest smile on his face. He was a man of high integrity and character. He was a loving, caring, respectful, funny, humble, and dedicated young man. In addition to his passion for barbering, he was also extremely passionate about his role as a big brother to Romane. He connected with all of his family and friends through calling, texting, or just showing up at your door. There are so many memories, that will be forever embedded in the minds and hearts of everyone who ever crossed paths with Rien.
