Robert Allen Garrison

Robert “Bob” Garrison, Director of Security at Arundel Mills Mall and long-time Maryland resident, unexpectedly passed away on August 11th, 2020 at the age of 62. 

Bob Garrison is survived by his wife, Linda Garrison; his daughter, Caitlin Garrison; his brother, Delbert Garrison; his nephew, Michael Pearson; and his niece, Faith Jackson. He is predeceased by his parents, Betty and Harold Garrison and his daughter, Melissa Garrison.

Bob was born in Hamilton, Ohio to his parents and older brother. He and his family primarily stayed in Ohio until he left home to join the United States Air Force in 1976. While in the Air Force he was stationed in Panama where he would meet his future wife Linda and they would welcome their first daughter. In the military Bob was able to travel all over the world and make many lasting friendships.  Eventually the family was brought back state side to the Maryland region where Robert was posted at the Pentagon where he worked under Secretary of Defense, General Colin Powell.

Bob retired from the Air Force in 1995.  After his military retirement, he worked security at Annapolis Mall, Pentagon City Mall, and Arundel Mills Mall where he worked at the time of his death. The Mall and his team there, were his home away from home and while he loved what he did Bob also had a true love and passion for fishing, hunting, and talking to people. His laugh and jokes will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
