Robert H. (Bob) Pollock, resident of Odenton, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 23rd 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 74.
Bob was born on August 14th 1946 in Clinton NC. He was an All American Athlete at Clinton High School - Football, Basketball and Track. After graduation he attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and earned Bachelor’s degree. He then enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1968-1973. Bob was a Vietnam Veteran. After serving he began a long term career as a Sales Engineer Representative for U.S. Military Hydraulics Equipment.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Nancy and 5 children. Justin Pollock (Anna) of Louisiana, Jeremy Pollock (Mauritha) of Massachusetts, Tamara Polcak (Curt), Robert Taylor (Cathy), and Deborah Anderson (Dan) of Maryland. Also, he had nine grandchildren, Spencer, Samantha, Rachel, Oliver, Brandon, Ashley, Austin, Sarah, Zack and one great grandchild, Brooks. He is also survived by his brother, James Pollock (Cathy) of Florida and his sister Donna Tyson (Alfred) of North Carolina.
Bob will also be missed by his 4 Nieces and 4 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Pollock and mother Minnie Pollock in addition to his sister Mary Ann Harris and sister Patricia Pollock.
Bob always had an eye for detail and could create or build something out of nothing.
With those skills in mind, Handyman Bob, LLC was born. He was an avid snow skier years ago but fishing, especially fly fishing was his most loved sport.
Bob never met a stranger. He could talk to anyone and by the end of the conversation he had a new friend. He was always known for his quick wit, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. He loved to make people laugh.
Bob also was a Third Degree Mason and a Lodge member in North Carolina.

So the next time you look up at the clouds, you will know that Bob is at work.
