Roger Wilson Hogg

Roger Hogg aged 86, passed away December 7, 2021.

Roger was a devoted husband to his late wife Fran for 58 years.  He is survived by his daughter Carol DiBiase of Shippensburg, PA, her son Matthew Diorio and daughter Stephanie Becker and their spouses; and his daughter Linda Hogg Chasleries of Mount Pleasant, SC, her spouse Luc Chasleries and their daughter Jennyfer Chasleries.

Roger was an avid athlete who excelled in track, golf, tennis and enjoyed biking, hiking, sailing, camping and swimming all of which he taught his daughters to enjoy as well.  He and Fran enjoyed traveling and golfing together.

Roger and Fran owned and operated a doughnut franchise for 25 years.  He had been a surveyor and began a final career, at age 70, with the Department of Homeland Security.

Roger was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who cherished his family and was cherished by them.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 1 to 2pm, at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD, followed by a funeral mass at 2pm. Interment is private.
