Sandra A. Wallace

Wallace, Sandra  (Sandie) Ann-  it is with great sadness that the family of Sandie Wallace announces her quick passing, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the age of 79. She passed away peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.  

Sandie was born to Thomas J. Wright and Iva N. Wyrick-Wright on May 26, 1943 in Annapolis, Maryland, She grew up in Landover Hills and attended Bladensburg High School where she then meet James (Jim) F. Wallace, Jr, and was married a few short weeks after graduation on June 30, 1961.  She worked a few years for Bell Atlantic until they started their family, then became a wonderful wife and stay at home mother at the farm Happy Acres in Mitchellville where they raised their kids and were happily married for 44 years before Jim’s passing.  She enjoyed traveling, gardening, was an avid reader and conversationalist.  

She is survived by her children:  James (Jim Jim) F. Wallace, III (Vi Renee); Andrew (Scott) Wallace; Debra Marosy (Dan); Mark Wallace and her brother Thomas Wright (June) and Brother-in-law Don Wallace (Gail).  Seven Grandchildren:  Amanda Swindell (Jimmy); Tyler Wallace; Michael Wallace; Hunter Wallace; Christopher Wallace; Conner Wallace; Delila Marosy and Two Great-Grandchildren: Lawson and Layla Swindell.  

She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.  Ironically she passed on Jim’s birthday, so she is together again with the love of her life.
