Sadly, at 12:53 a.m.on March 29, 2021, Sharon Kay Loncon passed away at the young age of 68. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sharon was born to Bruce and Doris Henderson in Ft. Belvoir VA on November 2, 1952. At age of 17, as a junior at Atwater High School she entered a pageant to represent the 93rd Organizational Maintenance Squadron, where she was runner up. A young lady with many talents, she aspired to become a nurse only to become a communications officer with the Department of Defense.
Sharon met the love of her life in 1973, John Loncon. It was love at first sight. Three weeks later they married on April 23, 1973. Once married they moved to Bluffton, South Carolina where she worked at Har Gray telephone company as an administrative assistant. From there she and her new husband began traveling the world, creating once in a life time memories. They had three amazing daughters. Sharon loved spending time in the kitchen making scrumptious meals for her family. But, her favorite pastime of all was heading to the casinos, usually coming home with four to five Jack pots a week. The heartbeat for Sharon however, was her eight beautiful grandchildren and her little fur baby, Gizmo.
Sharon is survived by her amazing and loving best friend/husband, John. Her daughters, Rachel Blizzard, Jennie Loncon-Sale, and Samantha Keifline. Her grandchildren, Gunnar, Brooke, Dustyn, Justice and Skylar. Her grand loves, Jay Junior, John Jacoby, and Parker. Her sister’s, Linda Hanks, Rhonda Etheridge (deceased), Lawrence Henderson and Donna Pullin. Her parents Bruce and Doris Henderson (deceased)
Sharon will be greatly missed for cheerfulness, bright smile and witty comments.
