Stanley W. Biess, of Annapolis, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, after reaching the age of 87 years old.
After months of failing health, he died peacefully in his home in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his Beloved with Jacqueline by his side.
Stanley was born on April 21, 1933, in Washington, D.C. to John Frank and Marie Biess. As a boy he lived in East Riverdale, Maryland.
As a young man, he served in the U.S. Navy and attended the University of Maryland. He worked and retired from the Department of Transportation, State of Maryland, as an engineer for 25 years.
He was an entrepreneur and ran several “small businesses” building and remodeling homes in the Annapolis area.
In 1957, he married the love of his life Jacqueline Judge. They lived together in Annapolis, Maryland for over 60 years, raising 2 children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline of Cincinnati, Ohio,
children Danielle Oxley of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Suzanne Sinnett of Paris, Kentucky, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved friends.
A private memorial service was held August 5, 2020, at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery Chapel.
